Drove through Niagara on the lake, pretty little town, lots of wineries but alas was raining again today. Made our way to Attercliffe Church expecting to hear Rev Huigen preach but there was a pulpit exchange; we heard a Rev R J Kampen, we had never heard him before. Pretty simple sermon on Davids plea for mercy after Absolom was chasing him. Have to admit, I was nodding a couple times but held my composure. Both churches we had people come up to us and offer lunch and/or coffee.
Came back to our spot which was only 10 minutes from this Church and took off for Ben & Jannette's place; we had been invited for dinner as well Maureen (my niece from my bro Phil) and Bert Wheeler. It was so nice to see them all, we had a simply wonderful dinner with them; Ben is the consummate cook and host. Got caught up with both couples and had a very nice time. It poured (again) and we were reminded this was abnormal getting this much rain. It seems ever since we entered Canada its been raining a lot. Oh well, tomorrow we cross the line into Michigan.
