October 28 Bryce Canyon Ootah with aditional pics added Oct 29

Today we left Salt Lake City Ootah to make our way to Bryce Canyon. We were still deciding half way whether to follow Miss Garmin or the Rand McNally map. We acquiesced to Miss Garmin as we weren't sure what condition the highway(s) were like. For the highway/planning junkies, we took I-15 South from SLC, then headed East on route 20 which then connected to #89 South (look on mapquest.ca). We had booked our next two nights at a highly regarded small park in Hatch (Ootah). So far so good, easy to get in, not too many spots, and good wi-fi); these are three musts for a good park to get our 65' train into. We got in at around 3PM and settled in and immediately went for a drive to visit..........oh wait, any Instagram friends might be reading this and figuring out the picture I posted for a free flight to Palm Springs. Jaco already guessed (shoulda waited) James doesn't count since he gets enough perks at work. Al, Kevin, and Greg, my son in laws also dont count since they also get perks from Dad. Well, we drove to Bryce Canyon and explored there for the rest of the day. Got the barby out when we got back and sizzled up a nice tenderloin. Caroline whipped up a very nice salad and mushrooms, a feast! A good day.
