October 25 Boise Idaho

We pulled into Boise yesterday after searching and finding a URC here. We met with fellow believers at this Church in the morning. It was an excellent sermon by the local pastor; he preached on how we as Christians are on a similar pilgrimage as the Israelites did as they were leaving Egypt. The Lord provided for his people and He does so now as we walk this earthly sojourn. he reminded us to fear not and stand firm in our faith that the Lord will provide for us each and every day; but we must go to Him. The only thing we were a bit lost at was the hymns we sung; now I have to say I am familiar with many hymns from this hymnal. But today there wasn't one I recognized, and I think many of the congregation today didn't either :(. I think Frank Ezinga could do wonders in this church :). In the afternoon we watched the live from Langley with Hilmer Jagersma. After that we went for a drive of the countryside of Boise. A good day.
