March 31 we've travelled from Phoenix to El Paso Texas yesterday. had a nice weekend in Mesa; we visited an old restored town in Apache Junction and visited the botanical gardens. El Paso not much here. The highway systems even in El Paso put ours to shame. seems every city we go through they are expanding the road systems

After making a 5 day detour back for Kees's funeral we flew back to Phoenix Saturday afternoon; drove to the dealership where we had some warranty work done on our fifth wheel (poor service!). had reserved a trailer trash park in Mesa and settled in for a couple days. So you'll all hear this at some point but I put up the tailgate BEFORE I had Caroline pull the truck away from the 5th wheel. DUH!! dented the tailgate but thankfully it still works. Knew I should've pulled it off before I left Langley! looking forward to joining fellow believers tomorrow at the URC.

March 13; we're enjoying warm sunshine here in Palm Springs, high 80's low 90's; almost a bit too warm :) . starting to get ready; got a new bike rack for the bikes, more locks to lock bikes, ladder etc. Went golfing a couple times, Mom "threw" her back out after Tuesdays game of golf, she's slowly getting better. Spending a dinner with Bas and Alice tomorrow to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary with some of both their siblings.
